This was my first studio recording.Mostly done in one take,and recorded by Kenny Jones,who has worked with,among others,Robbie Williams,The Smiths,Lee Perry and The Sugarbabes.
Most of the songs have been around for a while;Bobby's Song and One Of Those Days are relatively new.
About the songs?The Road Not Taken is pity they who get what they think they want,Reflection 37.5 came in a rush while looking out the window,You Are the One is an idealized notion of perfect,romanticized love,like in a film,or narcissism,or a song,Bobby's Song is a pastiche,When The Water Breaks is a dream,about?Endings and beginnings maybe,anything you like.Bad Dream is is the lover back,or is the Bad Dream still going?One Of Those Days,well,enough said!You Have Been Loved,believe me,you have,Sometimes,anything can happen,and does,Point Of View may be beat lyrics,abstract observations and some lyrical showboating,it always feels good to sing it.
